Practice Training Contracts

The firm offers practice training contracts for practice trainees. Practice training contracts are offered with a view to employment upon completion of the practice training period. We seek candidates who have a keen interest in learning the practice of law, are dynamic and proactive and who are able to make positive contributions to a team.

In addition to receiving training from the supervising solicitor, a practice trainee will enjoy the opportunity of working with many lawyers in the firm. The practice trainee will be exposed to a wide range of areas of practice, including litigation, corporate and commercial law, family law, employment law, landlord and tenant, insurance and conveyancing.

Currently, all the partners of the firm are qualified to be supervising solicitors.

Practice trainees will receive an honorarium of $1,800.00 per month during the practice training period with the firm and $500.00 per month whilst they are attending the practical law course for Part B of the Bar Examinations (“Practical Law Course”). A practice trainee who is offered a position as a legal associate and who accepts the offer will be reimbursed the fees for the Practical Law Course as well as the fees for his/her call papers.
