Professional Charges

For conveyancing matters such as:

• Sales, purchases and mortgages
• Leases and agreements for leases
• Reconveyances or reassignments pertaining to mortgaged properties
• Debentures by way of a fixed or floating charge etc,

our professional charges depend on a number of factors, including the value involved in the transaction, seniority of the lawyer handling the file, the complexity of the matter.  We generally give consideration to the Law Society of Singapore's recommended fee guidelines for conveyancing transactions.

For other non-contentious work and for contentious work, our professional charges depend on a number of factors, including the seniority of the lawyer handling the file and the complexity and level of difficulty of the matter. We use hourly rates as a guide to billing. Our hourly rates range from S$200.00 to S$500.00 per hour, depending on the seniority of the lawyers.

In addition to our professional charges, disbursements are billed separately for the full amounts.

To assist clients in managing their legal costs, we will be happy to go through with them the anticipated costs for each matter before commencing work. In addition, we send regular interim bills, which assist clients to monitor the legal costs of specific matters.
